Kanha being situated in Central India is subjected to tropical monsoonal climate. The month of January may also witness sub-zero temperatures and frost. Monsoon arrives in the second week of June. The average temperature over the months is as below:

Private Hotels are also present near the Khatia and Mukki Gates which can be booked by the Tourists by contacting the respective Hotel Owners.
